However, if the truth gets out, and she is told everything. Elizabeth will secretly support Dumbledore and the Order. She will not function as a spy, but will offer her services in relaying information to the Wizarding President of the United States so that Voldemort will not look towards her country as another place to conquer. - Pets (if any): None
- Blood Lines: Elizabeth is Muggle-born. There was probably was a Witch or Wizard in her family many generations ago, but she can only trace her roots up to her great-grandfather. If you wish to see her known family tree, please click here.
- Background: Elizabeth Catherine Tivoli was born to Carmine Tivoli and Barbara Anne Yeager on June 6, 1971. The daughter of Italian and German immigrants, she was born in Altoona Central Hospital in Altoona, PA, United States of America. When her mother was pregnant with Elizabeth, Barbara was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. After a few risky operations, she recovered and delivered a tiny baby girl. Because Carmine was fighting in Vietnam when Elizabeth was born, he wasn't present when his wife went into labor.
When Elizabeth was two years old, her mother had a relapse from Breast Cancer and died. Her father, now a widower, raised Elizabeth. When Elizabeth turned nine years old, Carmine left the Navy and moved to St. Mary's County, Maryland so he could work a civilian job with the local military base.
The following year, Carmine noticed several odd things happening to his daughter. Sometimes he would see her dolls moving without Elizabeth manipulating them, or puppet toys dancing around the room without hand manipulation. Dumbfounded, Carmine was at a loss of what to do with his daughter until he received an envelope in the mail about Salem Institute for Witchcraft and Wizardry. Wondering why he would be getting junk mail, Carmine threw it in the trash.
Over the next couple of weeks, Carmine began to get a repeat of such letters from the same address. It wasn't until Elizabeth's 11th Birthday when the large flood came in. Tired of throwing the letters in the trash, Carmine opened one of them only to find that his daughter had been accepted to the school is Salem, Massachusetts.
It was then that Carmine wrote to the school about the offer of teaching his daughter. The questions finally ended when he and Elizabeth took a long trip to the school for a visit. After her father drilled the teachers and School Head, he agreed to send Elizabeth to the school to begin her magical education.
Elizabeth wasn't an A+ student, but she did show signs of neat handwriting, a pleasant phone voice, and often tinkered around with computer operating systems when no one else wanted to. When she reached her final year of Magical Education, Salem Institute paid for her to go to a Muggle Technology Community College near where she lived.
Elizabeth ended up getting a certificate in Office Technology, which at the time, focused more on secretarial work. She graduated top of her class, and by the time she finished, a job in the local Wizarding newspaper advertised a secretarial job for a Wizard diplomat. Seeing it as an opportunity, Elizabeth applied. She was interviewed and finally given the job. What that now meant was that she had to take a plane to Great Britain, meet her new boss, and start training in her new duties... - Personality: Because Elizabeth is a working adult, she has often come to view the world in a more "adult" way. She hates foul language and racial slurs, considering them unprofessional. Because of her age, she also values education and learning more than younger people.
In her spare time, Elizabeth likes to read cheesy romance novels and go to museums. She particularly likes going to the Smithsonian to view the Natural and American History Museums. Elizabeth also likes to travel, but has gone to very few places around the world except for Italy, Greece, Vatican City, and Malta.
However, she is not always bookish. Elizabeth's ethics and moral code come from her father, who taught her the basics of military ethics. Elizabeth's loyalty to those she loves are unwavering, and she will only kill or injure if loved ones feel threatened. Her father always taught her that sometimes, you have to put your personal feelings aside and do what has to be done...
Elizabeth hates to be the center of attention and would prefer to have everything done in the background and away from everyone else's eyes. She also has a fiery temper that once she gets started with, she's hard to control.
Elizabeth also hates change. She prefers order, routine, and normalcy, and does not handle major life changes well. If she's forced to, she will adapt, but she would rather stay within her own confines. Because of her age, working in an office and being the member of team is natural to her. She fears that she will not be an asset unless she is working... - Appearance: If you wish to see an avatar version of Elizabeth, please click this link. Because she is both Italian and German, Elizabeth inherited her mother's facial features and fair skin, as well as father's dark brown hair and brown eyes. She keeps her hair easy to deal with parted down the side, with a pair of fashionable black glasses. Because she is near-sighted, Elizabeth cannot see well with out them.
Elizabeth also likes to dress up in casual clothes but will only wear a suit for work-related issues. She rarely dresses up formally and refuses to wear pantyhose. When she walks, it is with normal steps. Elizabeth talks like an American girl, though without much slang as other young adults from America. While she's not very formal, you'll see her speaking with contractions. She doesn't know many British slang words...
Sample: Elizabeth stood at gate B12 in the BWI Terminal, waiting to begin her Atlantic flight to Great Britain. With one hand on her wand, and the other with her suitcase, Elizabeth was nervous. Her relocation to another country was a shock to her father, but she saw it as an opportunity. A new country, a new place to explore, and of course, doing a job she was a natural at. She had gotten her certificate and was one of the Top 5 in her class.
However, there were rumors going around. The pure-blood Minister of Magic was said to be throwing many parties for diplomats from other countries. The number she was required to attend were more than she cared for. Secretly, she wondered if something was being hidden below the glamorous surface...
