Most students, including the kidnapped, receive a letter by owl. Ministry workers and other adults of interest also receive an invitation. Another letter with the location of the port key and time is attached.
The Minister of Magic, Lucius Malfoy, invites you to celebrate the new administration and to take the first steps into a new brighter future at the Renascent Ball. It will be a night of magic, music and celebration for change that we will accomplish only by becoming united. Let us become together and say goodbye to summer on August 31st at 7 pm. This invites you and two guests magical or not to join s in a night of magic.
Transportation will be provided by portkeys. Your portkey location and time is designated in the attached letter. The portkey shall only be active for 10 minutes after the time specified so please arrive early.
