August 28, 2:00pm
Like many other people her chaperone was easily bought. Pansy found it ridiculous that her parents while not in the mood to accompany her to go shopping required the presence of someone to watch her. What were they so afraid of? She was at no risk what so ever.
Still it wasn’t as if she had to do much to tell the person to go mind their own business. When the first offer didn’t work Pansy threatened her with telling her parents that she had muggle relatives. The woman gasped and quickly stepped away Pansy informed her that she would meet her at the Leaky Cauldron when she was ready to go home.
The crowds were busy at Diagon Alley; parents clung to their children for dear life all concerned with what had just happened at the camp. While slightly concerned the brunette knew she didn’t need to worry. No one would dare to try anything with her.
At least as long as she didn’t speak of who she had been seeing before school was out for the summer.
She didn’t have anything that she particularly needed at the moment having all ready acquired most of the instruments she would need for school as such she opted to just take a stroll around Diagon Alley and watch as the people hurried around.
Other people were incredibly boring she soon realized.
In the distance she could see pure temptation and she was going to give in. Florean Fortescue’s shined in the light of the day and the cool taste of an ice cream sounded rather inviting in this heat. She went into the shop and ordered a small serving of strawberry ice cream and decided to seat on the outside under the shade of an umbrella over her table.
She licked her spoon and then shielded her eyes as she noticed someone standing a few tables away that seemed familiar. Perfect, the person was coming this way.
