question about HBP

I am just re-reading Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince and I am just realizing something. Kreacher and Dobby both apparated and disapparated into the hospital ward and the Gryffindor common room to relay information to harry about what Malfoy was up to. How are they able to do this? I thought that there was an enchantment upon the shcool, other than the hours they have in the Great Hall for apparition training, that will not allow this to happen. This may be old news to most but I can't find anywhere else to get an answer. Thanks!

The magic of house elves is different than regular one

House elves, in my oppinion, are probably able to apparate wherever necessary. Because think of the House elves of hogwarts and how long it would take them to clean if the had to actually walk everywhere. ECK!
But yes it is stated in the books that House elves have a different kind of magic that makes those apparations possible.
