I'm a little bit confused ...

Are we supposed to be posting for our characters getting on the Hogwarts Express? I was under the impression that it was going to be a little while for classes to start ... I figured then we could just play in Diagon Alley and/or London and other such places.

So should we be getting on the train? If so, how long can we expect before school things start up and everything?

Also, most rules posts are from 2006; are we to assume that those are the rules and plots that we are playing off of?

Because we have yet to start the school year, you can post in Diagon Alley, your own home and that kinda thing as long as its not Hogwarts and Hogsemede, when you've feel that you've finished you can send them to the platform to signal that your ready to go to Hogwarts. You don't really have to finish RPing when you post in the platform, as you can go back to Diagon Alley as long as you say its still the summer. Do you get me? Or have i just made a mess of explaining that to you?
Usiku suggested starting the school year soon, but i think we'll need more feedback before we start that.
And yes please assume those are the rules and plots that we are playing off
