Has everyone heard the news? Universal Orlando is planning on opening a Harry Potter themed island in it's Islands of Adventure park sometime in 2009. Thoughts? Check out this site for a few artist's renderings of the proposed park. www.abcnews.go.com/Entertainment/popup?id=3236199 |

I would go to this theme park, really i would, its just too far for me to go atm. Maybe later.  But very cool, although i think a harry potter theme park should have been built over here in england  Personal opinion! |

I agree. It would give even more substance to my plea to do a Study Abroad in London. I'm trying for the next spring semester, and I really hope it happens because I need a reason to have a passport.
I think it will be interesting in Florida. The concept art looks beautiful, but there's no real certainty that it will meet expectations (which are obviously extremely high, with the end of the series coming this July)
I also urge anyone who is around to post, post, post! The plot has yet to move to Hogwarts but posting can happen in Diagon Alley, Platform 9 3/4 and the Hogwarts Express!

You see i tried to post something on the platform the other day but i couldn't really think of anything more intresting than to just... get on the train lol as i decided to stay away from Usiku because of the little falling out Timmy and Usiku had... but you know! I would just put "Timmy got on the train" but that wouldn't be on.

Hmm...depending on the activity on the board, give the post at Platform 9 & 3/4 til Saturday? Then move on to Hogwarts. How does that sound?

I suppose if we were at Hogwarts we might be able to get a bit more intrest you know, if they feel that they can do more stuff. Maybe ask them to do their first post in the platform thread, so everyone starts off at the same place kind of thing? Do you get what i mean? But as far as i can see, a move to Hogwarts can only be fore the better!
