Hello there!
Cat and I were considering whether we should change it so the user names are the character names. So you would have to have an individual name per each character. We think that these would make the board look more organized and also help with the people that have a lot of characters and signatures for all of them What do you think?
And if you think it's a hazle to have many accounts we could just open each different user name in a different tab so you wouldn't have to log out and log back in. DISCUSS!

As if managing multiple characters wasn't enough of a hassle, you want people to remember to sign in and out? I'd need convincing to embark on such a mentally debilitating endeavor.

I like the idea, mainly so we can have the user name with the signatures. Is it possible that we can have a try and see time for this before making it official?

Well, I don't have any signatures, so I can't really say if that would be better on those standards. I don't know if I'd really fancy having six different logins. I have already had a bit of trouble with my account and my new laptop. I made the mistake of signing out, and it wouldn't let me sign back in...Obviously, it's fixed, but I think I like having my one name. If it is voted in, I'll deal. User names will not deter me from RPG fun!  |

I like the idea of seperate accounts for each character the problem is if people are somewhat like me they have a hard enough time remembering login info for one account nevermind 3-4. Your idea of tabs would be steller if you could get it to work. That would definetly cut down on the login issues. As far as people with sigs go, I personally hate sigs in rp forums cause usually they are so big and distracting (I have them disabled). Every thing flows beter without them. But doesn't matter how you go about this multiple character thing cause I'll be around reguardless ^^ |

Oye, Mike, you online right now? And why a hassle when you've got only one character right now? You plan on apping an army? This is all just discussions and collecting opinions, not something set, so didn't quite have to sound so rude :-P
Maybe we can make it optional, because soem people do like to have avs at least, of each of their characters, and the logins will just be the character's name. And then for password, I tend to just use the same password for all the characters of one board. It allows us to colorcode the names better, for students in each of their houses, and for the names. And I was going to set it up on the sidebar or the bottom of the board so you didn't have to log out to switch accounts, just input the other username and password. Of course, I've occasionally posted under the wrong character, but that's not that bad, and easily fixed. It was just a suggestion, so people just chill. We're looking up anyway, to see if there's a way to link accounts and switch usernames that way.
As for sigs and avs, we admins are still discussing what to do, but thank you for y our inputs. Personally, I hate overly huge sigs too, but I don't mind small things.

My apologies, it wasn't meant to come off negatively. I'm scatterbrained and officially ADHD, so I really wouldn't know how to cope with handling multiple characters. The comment, reading through it again, looks like I directed it too much at Cat, who knows I'm a mess in that regard >_> I should be more mindful of others. Again, did not mean to offend. Also, don't take offense to my other post either. If you saw when I submitted my character, you'll realize that I've been regularly checking the site for signs of activity, and it wasn't meant to be mocking of your efforts to revive it... Though it was a bit on the slow side  |

I, personally, like just having one user name because I never log out of this at all, just seems easier. Also, I don't know how many other people really care about this, but I like knowing who plays which characters. So if someone has multiple characters I like to know that all those characters belong to that person?
That's just my opinion though, so yeah. I'm probably not really going to be able to post much anywho...

OK we heard what you had to say and we'll take it all into consideration. If a desiscion is made we will let you know! <3 The main change now is regarding the application proccess you now need 2 aprovals by two different admins to be accepted.
