The Eighth and Nineth Period will alternate with other periods. When we have to play them I'll add a little note under the date.
First off let's give a round of applause for Ana who kept up with my whining and made us the wonderful Class schedules table for our board. So now you might look at it and think it will take us a long time to role play those things daily but there is an explanation for everything!
Now, it could be a lot of fun if we would actually work out a way to make so that on Monday's certain classes are taken and things like that just like in the books! But that would not quite work well so instead we have this handy dandy schedule that tells you the order of the classes each day. Yep, that's right your character is taking those classes each day.
However, we are not going to role-play each day of classes because that would take a flipping long time. We are just going to be role-playing one of the classes you take daily. You see that class thing on the side. Periodically it will change to the next class but with the next day's date so mainly that only points out to which class of the day we shall be playing but again keep in mind that your character will indeed be taking all of those classes in a day. In fact you can go off to the plot forum and talk about things you want to happen in classes if you want! If you want to play a class that takes place the same day then go ahead do that also just remember to time and date it.
I am not quite certain if this makes a lot of sense but after a while you'll get used to it. It is not as complicated as I make it look. Oh also, if after a bit the professor doesn't post you may use the professor as a NPC ok? Which means each person posting can use it to its heart contents or if you prefer one of the admins playing the professor for you that can be arranged also. If you play a Sixth Year or up and your character is not taking some type of class woo hoo for them! They have a free period.
Oh! Remember ten points are given to the house of your choice each time you play a class (by play I don't just mean one post, I mean actually having your character in the class and stuff.). To get them just post the links to the posts in
the Post for points place according to the week.
Now here are the classes:
Charms
Transfiguration
Astronomy
History of Magic
Potions
Defense Against the Dark Arts (mandatory even for Sixth Years and up)
Herbology
Electives are:
Ancient Runes
Care of Magical Creatures
Muggle Studies
Arithmancy
Divination
Now as you see the electives will be taken with other years while the First and Second Years have flying lessons.
