L'au-dela`
Set in modern day New Orleans, it is a world where mortals live side by side (unknowingly!) with Carpathians, Shapeshifters, Dark Hunters, Breeds and those who aren't quiet mortal (Psychic Humans, Witches, Squires). For the most part, everything is peaceful and the mortals go about their days blissfully ignorant that there really are things that go bump in the night and that WILL eat you!
History:
Roughly 450 years ago, the first Lucianos set foot in New Orleans and claimed 500 acres off Bayou St. John and named it Bayou Black. Thru the centuries, the witch family has grown and prospered. About 250 years ago, the witch community of New Orleans established hierarchies and lived somewhat peacefully together. At that time, the covens joined together and the High Priestess came down the Luciano line. This is a matirarchial coven without a recognized High Priest. They tolerated the shapeshifters who appeared a couple of centuries later and agreed to stay out of each others way.
Over the past 200 years, the shapeshifting community of New Orleans established their own hierarchies and also lived somewhat peacefully together. The leaders of each group were the "Alphas" of the city, only allowing shapeshifters from the original groups (wolves, tigers, coyotes) and certainly no vampires in their territory. Witches were left alone, and humans of course existed.
Over 100 years ago, the first Dark Hunter appeared in New Orleans and with them came Damiens. This was met with much grumbling from the witches and the shapeshifters, yet again the communities learned to live together by mostly ignoring each other.
For 50 years, Carpathians have managed to make a life for themselves in this dark and magical city as well by mostly avoiding or ignoring the other supernatural groups. The witches, shapeshifters and Dark Hunters have never fully trusted the Carpathians... knowing that they were one step from turning into vampires.
Into this mix various plots will be created (feel free to suggest one!) that will pit the Otherworlders against each other and against the mortals while fending off the Fiends and those mortals who seek to achieve immortality thru them.

Crimson Moon:
Set in fictional Crimson Moon and loosely based off the novels by Kelley Armstrong and the Dark Angel TV series. It is approximately 76 miles northwest of Bremerton and in the center of the Olympic Peninsula. It is a world where mortals co-exist (mostly unknowingly) with Chameleons, Demons (and half-demons), Druids, Ghosts, Druids, Necromancers, Shamans, Sorcerers, Vampires, Wolf Shifters, and Witches. For the most part, the various species co-exist peacefully, if you discount the occasional rogue preternatural or the power hungry mortal!
-Crimson Moon Areas-
The city of Crimson Bay is a hotbed of supernatural activity with many bars, clubs, shopping centers, and other amenities to delight and enthrall both mortals and those not quiet so mortal.
The dark and mystical Carnivale Noir is home ported on a ranch on the outskirts of Crimson Bay. The carnies are an odd, mysterious, and possibly deadly group. They keep to themselves (for the most part) and tend to travel in packs. They have many secrets and take great measures to keep them.
Crimson Island is a wild and secluded island off the coast of Crimson Bay. It is approximately 10 miles wide at the widest point and 15 miles long. It is also the home of the largest shifter community in the area. Guests are only permitted to access the tourist strip at the front end of the Island and are closely monitered the whole time they are on the Island. The current residents of the island are frequently seen off-island. The island has been nicknamed "Wolf Isle" because of the concentration of wolf shifters who live on the island.
Clallam County lies across the northern half of Washington's Olympic Peninsula, the northwest corner of the Pacific Northwest. Its western and northern boundaries are the Pacific Ocean and Strait of Juan de Fuca shorelines. The southern boundary cuts through Olympic National Park, the nearly million-acre wilderness interior of the Peninsula. The high mountains, rugged coastlines, deep forest, miles of unspoiled rivers, clean air and water, and mild marine climate offer a most unusual combination of environmental and supernatural amenities.
--OOC—
Crimson Moon is an extremely adult RPG. If you are easily offended, then perhaps you may want to consider joining L’au-dela`, also an adult RPG but not as graphic.
